Lenfest News Philanthropy Network opens applications for courses on prospect research and stewardship

The Lenfest News Philanthropy Network is back with two new exciting programs for news organizations looking to grow their fundraising operations.
Coming this June, the Network will be here offering courses on prospect research and donor stewardship.
The Introduction to Prospect Research course will provide participants with practical prospect research skills needed for fundraising for news organizations and introduce them to assorted research screening tools, websites, databases, and targeted research strategies.
Led by Prasad Consulting & Research, the class will meet once a week from Thursday, June 23, 2022 to Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 3 p.m. EDT/Noon PDT. You can learn more and apply to participate here.
Donor Stewardship for News Organizations will focus on how news organizations can build relationships with their communities and will teach participants how to thank, recognize, and build relationships with donors in between asking for gifts.
The two-part workshop will be led by Schultz & Williams, and will be held on Thursday, June 9 and Thursday, June 16 from 2-4 p.m. Learn more and apply here.
