Kelly Brennan is an editor for the Lenfest Local Lab.
She plays a key role in the Lab’s Google News Initiative-supported hyperlocal newsletter project, exploring new ways to make neighborhood news sustainable in partnership with The Inquirer.
Kelly recently graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Journalism. While a student, she was the Editor In Chief of The Temple News where she led many aspects of the publication’s transition from print to digital, increasing newsletter engagement and overseeing COVID-19 coverage. She also was a production intern on WHYY’s The Why and a reporting intern on the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Power and Policy desk.
