Project description: This project will create a journalism and new media fellowship for formerly incarcerated Philadelphians.

Why we’re supporting this project: All of these organizations serve individuals that are often stigmatized in society. Journalism has power to help people to tell their own stories and often the best people to shed light on an issue are those people who have lived experiences. The fellowships are expected to help formerly incarcerated individuals tell their stories in a positive and empowering way.
