Samiya Green is a Philadelphia Ecosystem Program Analyst. It involves assisting with the implementation of strategic and operational objectives, supporting community engagement and outreach with a particular emphasis on the Philadelphia news and information ecosystem. Our mission is to help create a more sustainable and equitable local news and information ecosystem so communities may thrive.

Prior to working as a Program Analyst, Samiya began her time at the Institute as a fall/winter intern for Programs and Operations. She graduated in December 2020 from Temple University where she received a B.A. in Journalism with a track in Sports Media. While in Temple University she contributed to Fansided as a baseball writer and TSJ101 Sports covering football.
