Rusty Rae

Rusty Rae is executive director of Oregon Public Information Partnership (OPIP). He also is an award-winning photojournalist and writer for the News-Register of McMinnville, Oregon, and in addition to his newspaper experiences, he’s been a motorsport journalist covering events in the US and around the world.

Rusty is a graduate of Linfield University (née College) with an MBA from the University of Washington. The education he gained at each institution has helped him to bring a steady hand of servant leader discipleship to OPIP. He is passionate about his work with independent community newspapers that serve their readers with civic journalism.
