Nasha Taylor, is the Community Engagement Director at PhillyCAM where she facilitates partnerships in community media. She has prior experience in grassroots community organizing, youth development, education, community and economic development, digital inclusion, and nonprofit program management. In earlier roles, she helped to found the Binghamton Neighborhood Assemblies, Binghamton Youth Bureau, Philadelphia Youth Media Collaborative, Technology Learning Collaborative. More recently she co-led the planning phase of the Binghamton-Broome Anti-Poverty Initiative and helped introduce the first Collective Impact Conference. Nasha’s hometown is Binghamton, NY where she completed media studies at community college and then transferred to finish her bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with scholarship funding by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation.
