Manager of People and Culture

Jackie is the Lenfest Institute’s Manager of People and Culture. She is responsible for helping to support all aspects of human resources including hiring and onboarding, performance management, compliance, training and development, and other HR strategy and operations.

In addition, she provides leadership and direction to promote a positive work environment founded on core values and ethics and in accordance with the Institute’s organizational objectives, principles, and best practices. She is dually certified by SHRM and HRCI and holds the SHRM-SCP and HRCI-SPHR certifications.

Jackie was one of the three original staff members of The Lenfest Institute. Prior to joining the Institute, Jackie was for five years the Business Manager at Empirical Media Advisors, a New York-based consulting firm serving the global news industry. She also spent several years in retail banking and is a certified educator in her home state of Connecticut.

Jackie holds a B.S. in Finance from Penn State, an MBA from Hofstra University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University. 

When not working to promote positive culture change, she is at home with her husband, Jeff, and two dogs, Natty and Kali.
