Five Audience Community of Practice members to attend News Product Alliance Summit with Lenfest Institute support
News product thinkers from around the globe will gather virtually from April 26-28 for the second annual News Product Alliance Summit, and The Lenfest Institute is providing sponsorships for five members of its Audience Community of Practice to attend the conference.
The members attending the Summit are:
- Sari Zeidler – Senior Director of Audience Development and Operations, NBC Universal Local
- Matt Wilson – Chief Digital Officer, WITF
- Heather Muse – Audience Development Manager, Long Lead
- Lainey Seyler – Digital Operations Manager, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel/Gannett
- Zainab Shah – Director of Engagement and Audience, THE CITY
The five Audience Community of Practice members selected are either first-time NPA Summit attendees or news audience professionals who would otherwise not be able to attend the Summit on their own due to budgetary restrictions.
The Summit is a highly interactive conference that provides hands-on sessions, master classes, peer sharing, and virtual networking for news professionals working at the intersection of product, audience, editorial, and technology.
The Audience Community of Practice supports audience development news professionals through the sharing of strategies, best practices, and resources. In addition to providing tactical programming and connecting the network, The Lenfest Institute helps members tackle strategic and operational questions.
Programming for the community is free and open to all. The community’s next meeting is on Wednesday, May 17 at 2 p.m. EDT / 11 a.m. PDT to discuss audience strategies for Gen Z and Millennials. Kevin Loker, director of strategic partnerships and research at the American Press Institute, will share insights from API’s research on the topic. Learn more and register here.
